Atelier P
In the small town of Pavolding near Seeon, a barn was transformed into a two-storey holiday retreat. The weatherbeaten exterior wall is transformed into an interior feature, putting the impressive timber structure of the barn on display.
The overhanging roof and the large glass surfaces allow the inhabitants to immerse themselves into the landscape. The Post-and-Beam Facade opens up views to the north and south of the chiemgau landscape, with the large overhang providing shade in the summer.
The interior is simple and reserved, a small kitchenette and a fireplace are the only features.
